Sunday Morning Nursery
You care for the little ones of the Hillside family. This is such an important area of service as most families care more about what happens to their infants and toddlers at a church than just about anything else. These volunteer leaders help by attending to the needs of the infants and toddlers, those up to age 3 who are too young to enter the Extreme Kids program. Duties include feeding, changing, and playing with these precious children. It is our desire that each child is lovingly cared for while mom and dad are in worship. This is a rotational position with each person serving once a month.
Sunday Extreme Kids
Extreme Kids is our Sunday ministry for pre-school and elementary children. As a leader in this area you would be acting as a story teller or as the leader of a small group of children. You have scripts and props provided for each week. The story teller tells the Bible story for each week and the small group leader goes over that story with a group of children and helps them apply the story to their own lives. This is a rotational position with each person serving once a month.
TECHNICAL TEAM
Volunteers assist in running a sound board, Pro Presenter, or being involved in any part of the technical aspects of our corporate worship service.

These teams help make our weekend environments and special events an unforgettable experience.
GREETERS
Our greeters stand at every outside access door, warmly welcoming guests and members into Hillside’s facility. This friendly team also stands at every doorway entering the auditorium or welcoming people and handing out worship programs.
GUEST SERVICES DESK
Our Guest Services Desk volunteers give detailed directions, assistance, and information to guests and members. They are the central nervous system to our Guest Services Team.
CHECK IN
Our Check In Station volunteers assist parents in checking their children into one of our Family Ministry environments. They also make sure that new guests fill out the needed paperwork and escort them to their children’s worship environment.
GROUP Central & Group Central Resources
Volunteers assist in connecting people with all of our Group information, resources connected with those groups, individual message and/or message series, and all event registration and payment.
USHERS
Ushers assist in passing the offering baskets during the weekend service they attend. They also count every head on our Campus at 10:30am.
Family Ministry
Student Ministry: Help with a student campus or home group through either leading or hosting, or volunteering on Wednesday nights for Epicenter.
Extreme Kidz: Help in our elementary school program by either storytelling, hosting, leading worship, leading a bible story, or leading an elementary small group.
Element: Help in our Wednesday night Preschool program by either storytelling, hosting, leading worship, leading a bible story, or leading an art & craft.
Worship is one of our core values at Hillside, and one of the ways we worship the Lord scripturally is through the arts. Throughout the bible, especially in the book of Psalms, worship is directed to God with singing, playing of instruments, poetry, and other art forms. Worship Arts volunteers serve in any one of a number of different environments among our various campuses and worship venues.
Worship Arts Volunteer Opportunities
WORSHIP BAND
The worship band helps lead musical worship in one of our worship venues. At the Dalhart campus, these venues include:
Sunday Morning – A weekend worship service led by the Praise Team Band. Sundays at 9:30am and 11:00am.
Epicenter – A Wednesday night worship gathering for middle and high school students at 7:00pm.
Bass guitar
Help lead musical worship by playing bass guitar in the worship band in one of our venues.
Drums
Help lead musical worship by playing drums in the worship band in one of our venues.
Guitar
Help lead musical worship by playing electric and/or acoustic guitar in the worship band in one of our venues.
Piano/Keyboards
Help lead musical worship by playing piano and/or keyboards in the worship band in one of our venues.
Vocalist
Help lead musical worship by singing in the worship band in one of our venues.
Technical Team
